Rooms Bed and Breakfast
We have 4 guest rooms available in our Bed & Breakfast. Each guest room has its own theme. You can choose from the Classic Room, the Country Room, the Retro Room which takes you back to the 70’s of the last century or one of the two Oriental rooms: the Byzantine Room or the Far Eastern Room, in which a number of styles have been brought together giving you the feeling of living like a missionary in Africa.
Of course, all guest rooms are subject to availability. Whichever room(s) you choose to stay with us you will be able to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains. Each guest room has something extra, something special: for example, the classic room has its own large luxury bathroom, the byzanthynse room has a balcony and the retro room is extra large. All guest rooms come with men’s and women’s bathrobes.

Prices are per room, including breakfast for 2 persons. In the Retro room and the Byzantine room there is the possibility to add an extra bed for a small extra charge. Each room has the possibility to make coffee and tea. Coffee and tea are available free of charge in the room. Other drinks such as beer, wine, soft drinks and fresh fruit juice (from seasonal fruits if available) are available in a limited selection for a small fee.
There is a common room where you can find books, Dutch, board games and for the children lego and Playmobil. If you come with children, the two oriental rooms are good to combine with each other.
Smoking and fire hazards
Bed and Breakfast Casa Traca is a smoke-free Bed and Breakfast. This means that smoking is not allowed in the entire house. In the garden are enough seats to be able to smoke. Please note that Portugal is a dry and hot country. B&B Casa Traca is located in a wooded area, so always be alert with fire. Unfortunately, forest fires do occur here.
The rooms on the second floor are not suitable for people with mobility problems. There is no elevator. Breakfast is reserved in the downstairs conservatory where you have a fantastic view of the garden. Breakfast is between 7:30 am and 10:00 am.
Wifi is available throughout the accommodation & garden and is free of charge.
The Garden
The garden is also an important part of our B&B and it is therefore completely free to our guests. As in the guest rooms, we also have themed lounge areas in the garden. For atmospheric images we also have Instagram.
Check-in and check-out
You can check in with me by default between 3 pm and 7 pm. If you want to arrive earlier or later, please contact me. I appreciate it if you give me an expected arrival time so I can take that into account. Check-out is between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. You are still welcome to use the common areas and garden afterwards.
However, if you still want to use your room then a late check-out until 1:00 pm is possible. I ask a fee of € 10.00 for this.
